District and family pricing

There are two ways to buy Limud. Pick the one that describes you and you get one plan, one billing unit and one next step. A district pays by enrolment; a family pays by household.

Who is buying

Limud for Districts

Every student, teacher, parent and administrator in the district.

One plan. Everything the product does is included, and the price varies only by enrolment and term, never by feature.

$6

per student / year

Invoiced once a year against a purchase order. Districts have no monthly rate.

Per student per year by enrolled students. The band this district falls in is marked.
Enrolled studentsper student / year
Up to 4,999your band$6
5,000 to 24,999$5
25,000 and more$4

Minimum $2,500 a year, billed annually against a purchase order.

A three-year term takes 10% off the annual price, arranged on the quote.

Pricing questions

Who is Limud built for?
Districts and families, equally. A district buys one plan that covers every student, teacher, parent and administrator under it, priced by enrolment. A family runs a parent account with up to 5 kids, wherever those kids go to school. Same engine, same AI, same outcomes; what differs is the unit you are counted in.
What is the difference between a district plan and a single tool?
The district plan is a seat-based subscription: one account covers every learner, teacher and parent under it, plus the admin dashboards and the family connection. Single tools are per-tool purchases. You pick one tool for the subject you are actually studying, pay once, and you are done. There are no seats to manage and no district account required. Pick a plan when more than one person needs ongoing access; pick a single tool when you are studying solo for a specific exam or subject.
How much is the Family plan?
The Family plan is $5 a month, or $4 a month billed yearly ($48 for the year, saving 20%), for up to 5 children in one parent account. It includes 50 AI Tutor sessions a month, 3 quiz generations a month, adaptive material rewrites, the parent dashboard, weekly check-ins and Family Teaching Mode. Every paid plan, Family included, ships with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
How is a district price worked out?
The rate table is a step function on your whole enrolment, not marginal pricing: a district of 6,000 students pays the 5,000-band rate for every one of them, not the smaller-band rate for the first 4,999. Multiply your enrolment by the rate for the band it falls in; if that comes to less than the $2,500 minimum, the minimum is what you are invoiced. The estimator on this page does the same arithmetic with a slider.
What are the add-ons, and is anything I need behind one?
No. Family connection, wellbeing check-ins, student data rights, the access audit log and Google Classroom sync are in the plan and are never sold separately. The 5 add-ons are distinct products with their own invoice lines: District Insights, Standards Coverage, LMS and SIS connectors, Priority support and success manager, Summer session licence. A district can hold any combination, or none, and Limud switches each one on after the invoice is paid.
Can I change plans or enrolment during the term?
A district term runs 12 months from the invoice date; enrolment is set at the quote and reconciled at renewal, so nothing changes price mid-year without a conversation. A family can move between monthly and yearly billing at any time; a yearly switch takes effect at the next renewal.
Do you offer discounts for large districts?
The rate table is the discount: it falls with enrolment automatically, with no negotiation required to reach it. On top of that, a three-year term takes 10% off the annual price and is arranged on the quote. Districts past the 100,000 students the estimator covers should talk to us.
What payment methods do you accept?
Districts are invoiced once a year against a purchase order, with NET-30 terms; there is no card in the district flow at all. Families and single-tool buyers pay by card.
Is my data secure?
Every plan gets the same protections: access to a student record is scoped by role and written to an audit log, traffic is HTTPS end to end, the managed database is encrypted at rest, and a parent or eligible student can request an export or a deletion of the record at any time.
Are there limits on the AI?
The AI tutor, two-upload differentiation, AI grading and quiz generation are included rather than metered, under a fair-use budget that is applied per account and across the platform as a whole, not as a per-student quota you can run out of mid-lesson. If a district regularly runs past that level we will talk to you about it. We do not cut students off mid-lesson and we do not bill for overage.
