End User License Agreement

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Draft prepared for review. This page describes the product as it works today, to the best of our records, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice. Do not rely on it as a finished policy until qualified counsel has reviewed it.

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a license from Limud Education Inc. ("Limud", "we") to you, the end user, governing your use of the Limud software - the limud.co web application and the Limud iOS and Android apps. It works alongside, and does not replace, our Terms of Service; where this EULA is silent, the Terms of Service govern.

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms of Service, Limud grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Limud apps, and to access the Limud web application, on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal educational use or on behalf of the school, district, or family account under which you are registered.

2. What You May Not Do

You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:

  • copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Limud software, except as this license expressly allows;
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the extent applicable law prohibits this restriction;
  • rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or distribute the software to any third party;
  • remove or obscure any proprietary notices;
  • use the software to build a competing product, or scrape or harvest data from it; or
  • use the software for any purpose outside legitimate K-12 educational use.

3. Ownership

The Limud software, including its design, source code, AI models and prompts, and branding, is owned by Limud Education Inc. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. This EULA gives you a license to use the software; it does not sell or transfer any ownership in it. Content you create on Limud remains yours, as described in our Terms of Service.

4. Third-Party and Open-Source Components

The Limud software incorporates open-source and third-party libraries, each under its own license. Those licenses may grant you rights in addition to this EULA with respect to the components they cover.

5. Mobile Apps and App Store Terms

If you obtained the Limud app through Apple's App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's standard terms of service for third-party apps, and this EULA is between you and Limud only - not the store operator. The store operator has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

6. Updates

We may release updates to the software from time to time, including to add features, fix defects, or maintain security and legal compliance. Some updates may be required to continue using the software.

7. Term and Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you violate this EULA, or when your underlying account is closed per our Terms of Service. Upon termination, you must stop using the software and, if applicable, delete it from your devices. Sections 3, 8, and 9 survive termination.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Limud software is provided on the same "as is" basis, and subject to the same limitation of liability, described in Sections 11 and 11a of our Terms of Service.

9. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, consistent with our Terms of Service.
